Seeking HT/HTL or eligible to perform specimen ascensioning, grossing, and processing. Prepare tissue samples for histological examination by embedding, sectioning, and staining. Maintain accurate records of specimens and ensure proper labeling and documentation. Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and aseptic techniques to prevent cross contamination. Collaborate with pathologists when needed. Perform all routine maintenance and troubleshooting and documentation of laboratory equipment. Research questionable pathology specimens to assure correct patient outcome. Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques relevant to histology. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff and patients.
7:00am- 3:30pm Monday through Thursday 8 hours x 4 days=32 hours a week.
no weekends no holidays.
Very flexible schedule and work environment.
